Missing lilly

I am missing my cat lilly a lot mostly when I am sitting on a sofa or closing a door ( at home I close the door in the living room or bathroom so lilly will not come inside) So just now I found this picture of lilly on facebook in her hotel waiting to come home. I am very happy to see this picture thats why I am sharing this picture with you.

When I woke up I talked to my dad to see how he and my little sister where.
After talking to my dad I was reading and Dilawar went to see a friend.
When Dilawar came home we went to another house, the house belonged to his uncle's.
The house look like a little separate village, I have never seen this before.
I could not make any pictures due that the electric has fallen and it was dark.
Dilawar has explained me that this house is only temporary, they are busy with construction work on the house next door where they will move to. I have seen that house and it look much better then where they live at this moment. The people welcomed us in one separate little house, this is because at the other houses they where celebrating the marriage like the night before. me and Dilawar where hungry the people have expected us to be hungry and gave us a real feast with different foods. I have eaten somosa's (they are here better in taste then in UK), vegetable biryani, rice pudding and cake. The cake was better then I was expecting, it was moist and you could taste the milk that they sprinkled the cake with so it will not be hard.
I really have enjoyed the food there. After some conversations we went home to sleep.

Tomorrow I am going to the city in Sialkot for buying shalwar kameez.

Fist I want to apologize that I did not update my blog on time.
This is due to the electricity here in Pakistan. On Sunday when I woke up from resting due to the journey I found Dilawar and his family on the terrace. We spend our time on the terrace to know each other better.
Then the sweet sister of Dilawar made us lentils with rice (its my favourite dish). If you are asking yourself if the food is oke to eat as a foreigner in Pakistan without getting cramps, to be honest before I came to Pakistan I have asked the doctor if he can give me tablets for this. The tablets that the doctor gave me help and now I can enjoy the food here, the food is really great its all fresh made.

After eating there where more people coming to the house for the celebration of the marriage of Dilawar's brother (Barber), the wedding will be next Saturday. Till then they are celebrating it every day.
So on the celebration all the woman's where sitting in one circle surrounding the drummer and singing songs. Then they danced in a very traditional Style (you can picture this dance by thinking of fitness), it was really fun watching everybody having such a great time including myself.

On 10 pm all the people went to their own houses and the celebration will continue tomorrow.
So then Dilawar and me gave the gifts that we bought to his family, we bought a scarf and a perfume from zara for mom, she was really happy with the scarf.
After all the gifts we have given we went to relax and watch tv, this I found really comfortable watching tv with all the family.

After the tv we all went to bed.

I am very happy that i have come here, the family is very nice and like me the way I am.

Arrived in Pakistan

After our passport have been checked when we arrived in Pakistan, we went to get our luggages. There we found a lot of people that get paid by just helping to find your luggage and set this in a trolley.  These people work at the airport every day, this is their job. When we finally found our luggage after a half hour of search, we have been stoped by the airport security. They have checked the dvd player and stereo that Dilawar has brought for his family and said that we need to pay tax on these items if we want to enter Pakistan with these items.  After payment we have found the brother and cousin of Dilawar, they took us to home. The car journey was one hour from Lahore to Sialkot. When we finnely have arrived the family of Dilawar have welcomed  me very warmly. They trowed rose pedels on me and Dilawar as we enterd the house. Now I am resting of my journey and wil keep u updated soon.

Heathrow

At this moment I am at Heathrow airport.  My first impression of the airport is that its hugee, bigger then Amsterdam of course.  My first purchase here is a strong mocha coffee from Starbucks and a croissant.  Dilawar bought two croissants, a latte and an innocent smoothly.  We have to wait 4 hours for our next flight to Pakistan.  The flight wil be a duration of 8 hours to Lahore.
So this means I wil keep u updated of the flight tomorrow.

Belfast city airport

Woke up at 4am now its 7am and I am waiting to get in the plane to London.  The worse thing is I HAVE NO MUSIC for the whole trip. I received one mp3 from my friend but hade no cable ( I thought I hade but it was the charger). Then I went to buy one new mp3 and at the last min it got lost!.

Handmade Scarf

I have made a Purl Stitch scarf with an Indian cross stitch at the bottom, and I am selling it on Ebay.

This is my first item that I am selling so I am very nervous.

I made this scarf so it will help me to buy my love a good Christmas present this year, lets hope I will sell it quik!
