Catching Fire

Yesterday I have seen the second movie of the Hunger games (Catching fire) it was very good.
I was even surprised that the movie was good, this because many second movies are bad when there are a lot of expectations. This movie was like a roller coaster full with emotions just like in the book.
I have read all three books and I must say that the second book is my favorite and till now the movie as well.
The only thing that I disliked of the movie is that the scenes where fast, maybe its because
I have read the book. I cant wait to see Mockingjay =p.

Christmas Fair, Christmas Market

I was Sunday at a Christmas fair in Belfast. The Christmas fair had a lot of hand made cakes, dolls, bags and a lot more creative stuff. It was really beautiful to see how many people are creative, a lot of people have inspired me to knit my own scarfs and hairband's. My roommate has bought a knitted doll from this fair and loves it a lot, even if we bully her =p.

After the Christmas Fair we went to the Christmas Market. I love Markets it reminds me of my dad, this because he loves to walk in markets like these. At the market they had really good food like bratwurst, little dutch pancakes (poffertjes), chicken with creamy sous and potatoes, shrimps with potatoes, German kisses, Wafels, Crepes and a whole lot more!!!. I have bough chicken with cream sous and potatoes then I went to get hot Chocolate milk with Baileys!!!! my favorite. It is really Delicious when your cold outside and have a cup of hot coco with baileys, LONG LIVE BAILEYS.

Alexander Mcqueen-Spring/Summer 2014

Sarah Burton made a great collection, it is very unique. It has a lot of kilts, leather bra's and feathers. The most beautiful design I like are the shoes: they are very bionic/warrior type. The colour use gives the collection a boost and an inspiration for next summer.

The arabian nights

I am now a days reading 'The Arabian Nights by Hussain Haddawy'  and would like to share some lines.
The porter, looking to see who opend the door, saw a full-bosomed girl, about five feet tall. She was all charm, beauty, and perfect grace, with forehead like the New moon, eyes like those of a deer or a wild heifer, eyebrows like the crescent in the month of Sha'ban ( The eighth month of the lunar muslim year), cheeks like red anemones, mouth like the seal of Solomon, lips like red carnelian, theeth like a row of pearls set in coral, neck like cake for a King, bosom like a fountain, breasts like a pair of big pomegranates resembling a rabbit with uplifted ears, and belly with a navel like a cup that holds a pound of benzoin ointment. She was like the poet aptly Said:
One stately sun and full moon cast on your sight; Savor the flowers and lavender's delight. Your eyes have never seen such white in black, such radiant face with hair so deeply dark. With rosy cheeks, beauty proclaimed her name, to those who had not yet recieved her fame. Her swaying heavy hips I joyed to see, but her sweet, slender waist brought tears to me.
When i have read this text I felt in love.
Its beautiful the way they discribe a woman, would like to be discribed the same way ;p.

Pumpkin Ideas

As I was walking from my work towards my house I saw a lot of houses with a Jack-o'-lantern.
So I checked on the internet what you can do with a pumpkin and its beautiful that u can make everything out of a pumpkin. So I made this post for people with a pumpkin as an inspiration what they can do with it.

Halloween

At work we have celebrated Halloween, it was funny to see people work in their costumes.
There where death red ridding hoods, a doll, death police man and vampires.
There was a pumpkin carving competition, the one who made his pumpkin the scariest of all pumpkins won the compitition!.

I have bought a costume that was big for me but luckily one of my colleges helped me and sewed the costumed for me smaller.

Crumlin Road Gaol (prison)

Today we went to the Crumlin Road Gaol, this was a prison in Belfast made in 1845 and closed it's doors as prison in 1996. During the time when the prison was open there where 17 man that where hanged. The first execution was in 1854, the name of this person is Robert Henry O'Niel he was 18 years old.
The last man hanged at the prison was Robert MacGladdery  he was 25 years old and convicted of murdering an 19 year old girl named Pearl Gamble. The Crumlin Road Gaol is one of the most haunted buildings in Belfast and a number one scare attraction, there have been paranormal activities reported.
There was an underground tunnel from the prison leading to the court for prisoners, in this tunnel there have been reports of seeing a black shadow across the tunnel, hearing keys fall and a woman whispering.
